What are COVID-19 treatments?
COVID-19 treatments - Medications such as pills, shots, or IVs can be utilized as COVID-19 treatments to avert severe symptoms and reduce the likelihood of hospitalization following the onset of COVID-19. Angeles Community Health Center can tell you if you are eligible for treatment and which type would work best for you.
Treatments are available for both adults and children who qualify.
You can get treatments if you:
- Test positive for COVID-19 (testing is available here at Angeles Community Health Center) AND
- Are more likely to get very sick (older than 50, unvaccinated, or have certain medical conditions).
How can I get treatments?
Option A: Contact your healthcare provider.
If you think you have COVID-19 symptoms, a healthcare provider can help you get tested and get a prescription for treatment. You can then go to a pharmacy to receive your medication.
If you do not have a healthcare provider, call us at 866-981-3002 to discuss your symptoms and possible treatment options.
Option B: Go to a Test and Treat location.
If you have COVID-19 symptoms, you can get tested, get a prescription, and receive medication – all in one place here at Angeles Community Health Center.
